I am a Creator and Educator: in both arenas, my mission is to act as a catalyst for individuals to access their own power and authenticity.
I am an experienced innovative learning consultant with a demonstrated skill in curriculum design and delivery. As a speaker, facilitator, and coach - I work with aspiring leaders in business, education, and healthcare industries and have presented at conferences on applied improvisation, group dynamics, and therapeutic curriculum design to professionals in various industries. My former career experience in psychiatry and therapeutic group facilitation has informed my work with groups as a teacher, facilitator, and speaker. I’ve conducted training courses on applied improvisation, group dynamics, and innovative curriculum design for professionals in healthcare, business, and education.
As a comedic performer, storyteller, and writer - my mission is to share joy, inspiration, and invite audiences to challenge their own limitations through play, laughter and self-reflection.
I am a passionate learner and hold bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Psychology from The George Washington University and a MEd in Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I began improv comedy training nearly two decades ago and studied at comedy theaters in DC, LA, NYC, and has been a faculty member of The Second City Theater in Chicago.
Since falling in love with improvisation, I have worked to share the philosophy of the art form in my work in psychiatry, education, training, and consulting. As a writer, performer, and storyteller, I have helped to create numerous comedic, sketch, solo, and autobiographical productions. I also like to capture beautiful things.
