Hi, I’m Stephanie

What’s up with this website name
Yes, Anderson’?

If you’re familiar with improvisational theater, you’ve likely heard it’s well-known catch phrase: “Yes, and” This fundamental principle of improv is a key driver of the collaborative nature of the art form, especially for actors performing without a script. It is all about alignment with the present moment. Saying "yes" in improv -and in life- means accepting our given circumstances and embracing the possibilities of present moment. The "and" is our call to action to meet the moment by adding thoughts and actions to further advance the scene -or life situation- that we find ourselves in.

As a creative performer, change catalyst, and educator - I’ve found the ‘Yes, and’ principle to be essential to stepping into whatever gift is being offered in the present moment. It is this open-engagement which makes for meaningful communication, collaboration, and real change possible.

…also, my last name is Anderson - so it just fit!
